The application for China Construction Bank (hereinafter referred to as CCB) setting up its Taipei representative office has been approved by Taiwan Financial Supervisory Commission on March 17th, 2011. On April 8th, 2011, CCB Taipei representative office reported to authority for officially opening up. Being the excellent platform for CCB in Taiwan, CCB Taipei representative office will actively engage in business information collecting and analysis, develop in-depth understanding on peer banks and local market, and promote cross-strait economic and financial cooperation. Also, it will effectively assist CCB Head Office to maintain and expand business relations with Mainland-funded enterprises operating in Taiwan and Taiwan-funded enterprises operating in the Mainland.
